Marshalltown Speedway Frostbuster 4-3-09 pit shots

Great day for a race. Marshalltown was a perfect setting for a great night of racing!! Fortunatley for the 204 cars, drivers, pit crew and fans the racing and good time had by all were better than my pictures.
I tried to do some different things which included shooting in turn 3-4 catwalk and that did not work with no light and my flash going down fast. With the catwalks full there was no where to go but the middle. No better luck there as it is very dark and my flash battery wore down, I had to get my other battery in the middle of the sport mod feature. Well with the new battery it did improve some but the lighting at Marshalltown is very dark. I have never shot there before, unless you include last years Sotck Car Shoot Out and that was minimal. But anyway I could not find a good place to get good shots like I like. Sorry that the pictures pretty well are not up to snuff I think after it got dark. Still some good ones but more bad than good.
